Competition Details
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to all NRAA members
Maximum of 64 competitors (first in, first served, waitlist will be activated if 64 is reached)
No entry on the day
Sporter Production and Sporter Open Classes only
Online registration and payment opening Monday 30th March 2026 at 6PM:
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
All shooting will be conducted under current NRAA safety rules
No camping at the range
Competitors will have 10 minutes per range:
– 3 min set-up time
– 10 min starts as soon as the scorer says “target is yours”
Silver Mountain electronic targets will be used on the day
No muzzle brakes allowed
No monolithic projectiles
Hearing protection must be worn in the shooting shed
Energy restrictions and calibre restrictions apply (i.e. .338 is not allowed)
Single loading only – magazines can only be used as a loading tray
No blow-off shots on targets
25m range will be available to confirm elevation
Competitors will be assigned targets at random, the order of targets will be determined by a draw on the morning of the event. Targets will NOT be in sequential order!
Gear will be scrutinised: see section 13 in the NRAA SSR (Jan 26). Competitors should note the Approved Rifles (Appendix H) before entering this event
Catering by the Geelong Rifle Club throughout the day will include breakfast, morning tea, BBQ lunch and afternoon tea at club prices
