Dry Fire Practice

The current closure of rifle ranges shouldn’t stop us from practicing our shooting techniques. It is a perfect time to use dry fire practice to hone in on shooting fundamentals.

This video uses the Sporting / Hunter Class as a vehicle to get back to basics.

In this video I provide a few more tips and tricks including:

  1. Using snap caps – you can get these at most gun shops or online here
  2. Creating an aperture reduction device to allow you to focus on a close range target
  3. Installing a pod lock to a Harris Bipod – these can be obtained here
  4. The target I use -I downloaded it from here and printed it out at 25%
