September Club Competition Report

Today was another great day of shooting for our monthly club competition.

This month we undertook a Bisley style shoot at 300, 500 and 600 meters.

Thanks to Rob May for leading us through this exciting style of shooting.

Shooters shot in pairs, alternating shots on the one target.  It is great for skills development as it prevents the ability to rapid fire when wind conditions are constant.

David Heath won the Handicap again with 194.86 points.
Ian won the Scratch with 173.13.
The next Trophy shoot and BBQ will be held on October 6, 2018 at 11:00 am
Ranges: 500m, 700m & 800m  hope to see as many members as possible.

Club practice 21st July

It was great to see another week of members and visitors coming out to the club and having a good day of shooting.

The wind was tricky at both 600 meters and 800 meters, with no “possibles” achieved.

Ross is off to a good start at 600 meters

Down at the zero range (25m) and 100 yard ranges, a number of hunters had a great day checking in their rifle scopes were on zero ahead of a deer hunting trip.
